Mike Cassidy is the Director of Environmental Services, overseeing
the operations of the County-wide Recycling Center and the
Jessamine County Recycling Convenience Center. He works to
assist property owners in cleaning up open dumps. He also
investigates complaints regarding road side littering. He
works in conjunction with Jailer Cecil Moss and the Jessamine
County Detention Center in roadside debris pickup. Jessamine
County works with PRIDE
and Bluegrass PRIDE in obtaining funding for clean-up projects.

Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
Closed Saturday and Sunday.
Items accepted: Wood, Carpet, Mattress and Box Springs, Couches, Metal, Drywall, Appliances, Construction Debris, Cardboard, Batteries, Tanks for Gas Grills, and Furniture.
Items not accepted: Regular Household Garbage, Food Scraps, Wet Items, Liquids, Rocks, Brick, Dirt, Concrete, Brush, and Blacktop.
Note: We are a drop-off facility. We are unable to provide pick-up.
No Oil accepted. Oil is accepted free of charge at the Road Department.

The Convenience Center accepts checks, money orders, debit cards and credit cards. No cash accepted.
